Soryu requirements: Demon, level and fishing
Soryu is a Demon fighting style, not a Blood Demon Art. The trial requires fishing access as well as the right race. Prepare the permit and Basic Rod before visiting Kazuma. Item Level · Fighting-style trainers and trials

Where to find Soryu Expert Kazuma
Search Seasons Crossing near Mistfall Harbor, around the platforms and house beneath the bridge. The trainer is named Soryu Expert Kazuma. Use these landmarks rather than assuming a video from before a relocation shows the same position. Item Level · Fighting-style trainers and trials

Soryu Scroll location
From Kazuma's platform, descend to the water beneath the bridge and water wheel. Swim through the waterfall into the flooded cave. Search the submerged floor and the back area near barrels for the scroll's glow and pickup prompt. Confirm the scroll objective changes in your tracker. Planning advice: identify your surface route before diving. Do not confuse a fishing pickup with the Soryu Scroll, and do not spend the whole trip in this cave looking for the trainee.
Why are my fish not counting?
The walkthrough uses the Basic Rod on the harbor docks and then hands 20 Common Fish to Kazuma. A caught fish and a completed delivery are not the same event. Why is the 8,000 damage counter stuck?
Put your weapon away and equip the basic fist stance from the inventory's Combat category. Deal M1 hits, then inspect the trial counter after a short test. Planning advice: test a few hits before a long grind. Check that the quest is active and the correct stance is equipped; this is not proof that every stalled counter needs a paid reset.
Goki and the second waterfall
The trainee route continues east and below the scroll waterfall to Veilfall Cavern. Its entrance is behind another waterfall. Is Soryu a Blood Demon Art?
No. The checked guides describe Soryu as a Demon fighting style; its trial is separate from rolling an art.
Are the scroll and Goki in the same cave?
The published route describes two waterfall entrances. The scroll is in the flooded cave by Kazuma; Goki is farther east and lower in Veilfall Cavern.
Does this checklist unlock Soryu for my account?
No. These are local planning notes. Only the game can complete the quest and grant the style.
