PUBLISHER REPORT · CHECKED 27 SEPTEMBER

Does changing styles refund skill points?

Pro Game Guides’ 26 September V0.182 assessment reports that changing or resetting a Breathing Style, Evil Art or Fighting Style returns the points invested in that branch, and that previously lost points should return on the next join. It also reports clan-tree progress is retained when changing clans.

This is an attributed report, not a refund we tested or an official changelog we independently accessed. Record your points before changing anything, read the confirmation, then reopen the Skill Tree afterward. A style-branch refund is not the same as resetting every point in the tree. Do not buy another reset just because a local checklist is incomplete.

How to add skill points

Open the top-left three-line menu, select Skill Tree, then inspect a node. Check its prerequisites and your SKILL POINTS balance before buying; afterward, confirm its panel says UNLOCKED.

The launch walkthrough reports three points per character level. Read your actual balance rather than treating a calculated total as spendable points. All Things How: skill-tree menu walkthrough

How to unlock Wall Climb

Find the movement nodes in the Skill Tree and inspect Wall Climb's current cost and prerequisite chain. Double Jump is another movement unlock. This guide does not assign a point price without verifying the current menu.

Editorial advice: when a cliff is stopping your trainer trip, solve that movement requirement before committing the rest of your points. Find your trainer route

Why is my skill still locked?

Use a short checklist rather than repeatedly pressing purchase: read the requirement panel, check the available balance, check the preceding nodes, and confirm you are inspecting the intended branch. Then reopen the node after purchasing.

Character levels, weapon ownership and a usable build are not interchangeable milestones. Keep notes about the exact requirement the menu displays instead of assuming that another player's level or loadout unlocks the same thing for you.

How to reset skill points

The reported menu route is Menu → Shop → Reset Skill Points. Reset Breathing, Reset Fighting Style and Reset Reputation are separate entries. Read the current offer before confirming a paid reset. All Things How: skill-tree menu walkthrough

For a reported free option, check SkillTreeReset on the codes page. Older instructions using PointsReset are now stale according to the 21 September code reports. We keep code status on one page rather than duplicating an active list here. Beebom: code status, 21 September

What should I spend points on first?

Editorial decision guide, not a tested best build: identify the next task you cannot complete. If it is a route, inspect movement requirements; if it is a fight, review the part of your setup that is failing. Pick that target node, trace its prerequisites, and reserve the needed balance before making optional purchases.

Before resetting, save a note of your current setup and why you are changing it. Afterward, check one purchase at a time. This avoids replacing one unexplained build with another.
